Qualifications
Experience & Education

•Technical Accounting: Demonstrated, deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to seamlessly apply accounting and mathematical principles to daily tasks.
•Regulatory Knowledge: Advanced understanding of federal, provincial, and corporate policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting and auditing.
•Software Proficiency: Advanced user proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), MS Project, and specialized accounting/auditing software.
•Soft Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills, sharp critical thinking, acute attention to detail, and the ability to exercise significant independent judgment while managing your own time.
Asset (Nice-to-Have)
•Prior experience with or functional knowledge of RBC financial systems and associated banking procedures.
•Hold a relevant professional designation: CPA, CA, CMA, or CIA.
