Responsibilities
- Facilitate the handover of DCS, SCADA, PLC, PI functionalities from Engineering team to the Automation team.
- Ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer of system functionalities, configurations and maintenance procedures.
- Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of automation systems and monitor system performance while implementing corrective action whenever required.
- Develop best practices for system configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise regarding automation systems and stay updated with new advancements for continuous improvement.
- Engage with IT team to ensure proper integration of automation systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical or other related discipline
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience in implementing automation systems such as DCS, SCADA, PLC and HMI.
- Proficient in OSIsoft PI System administration and data management.
- Understanding of industry standards and protocols related to automation such as OPC, Modbus, and Ethernet.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and manager resources.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Self-starter, independent and committed to results.
