Our client, a premier custom equipment manufacturer, is seeking skilled Pressure Welders for an immediate 2-3 month project at their facility in Rocky View County, AB (with potential for contract-to-hire). This role is ideal for precision-driven fabricators ready to step in, execute high-standard spooling work, and hit production milestones.
As a Pressure Welder, you will fabricate and weld custom process piping and pressure vessels to strict ASME code requirements in a fast-paced shop setting.
Job Type: Short-Term Contract (2-3 Month Project with potential to extend/convert)
Location: Rocky View County, AB
Schedule: Day Shift: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (5x8s) - Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM (4x10s)
Environment: Industrial Shop / Manufacturing
Wage: $48.00 to $50.00 per hour

Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
ASME Code Welding: Fabricate and perform high-quality pressure welding on process piping, pressure vessels, and custom equipment.
Spooling: Execute precise pipe spooling fabrication adhering strictly to project drawings and specs.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all welds meet strict non-destructive testing (NDT) standards and engineering specifications.
Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex isometric drawings, weld symbols, and structural blueprints.
Safety Leadership: Maintain a clean, organized work station while strictly following shop safety protocols.
Qualifications
What are we looking for in a candidate?
Certification: Journeyman Welder Certification with valid Pressure Welder credentials (B-Pressure / ASME qualifications).
Experience: Proven experience fabricating custom process equipment, piping spools, and pressure vessels.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in pressure welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, or FCAW as required by ASME procedures).
Requirements: Ability to pass pre-employment shop weld tests and background checks.
