Overview:
Location: Nisku, Alberta
Schedule: Monday – Thursday (6:30 AM – 4:00 PM) & Friday (6:30 AM – 2:45 PM)
Job Type: Temp-to-Perm, Full-Time
Compensation: $36/hour (+ plenty of OT)

Responsibilities
Heavy Tonnage Fabrication: Lay down flawless, heavy multi-pass welds on massive carbon steel columns, industrial beams, and complex custom structural frameworks.
Code-Perfect Execution: Ensure absolutely every joint and seam strictly exceeds rigorous CWB structural codes and complex engineering schematics.
Master New Technology: Seamlessly transition between traditional manual welding processes and state-of-the-art robotic welding systems.
Elite Shop Coordination: Work in lockstep with our master fitters, heavy overhead crane operators, and foremen to safely maneuver high-tonnage steel down the line.
Safety Champion: Actively drive our zero-incident culture by participating in risk elimination and keeping your bay meticulously organized.
Qualifications
Official Trade Status: You absolutely must hold a recognized Journeyperson Welder ticket.
Mandatory CWB Tickets: An active, fully valid CWB FCAW/MCAW certification covering at least three positions is strictly required to step onto the floor.
Proven Structural Pedigree: We need a documented history of producing high-quality work in a heavy commercial steel, industrial fabrication, or high-tonnage manufacturing environment.
Reliability & Grit: You must possess an uncompromising work ethic, ironclad punctuality, and the physical stamina to thrive in a high-output production facility.
