Responsibilities
Perform precision B-Pressure welding using high-level MIG processes across a diverse range of custom truck tanks and robust pressure vessels.
Carefully read, interpret, and execute plans from intricate blueprints, structural diagrams, and standard welding symbols to ensure accurate builds.
Masterfully measure, fit, and weld steel components, adhering closely to strict engineering designs and industry-regulated quality codes.
Perform comprehensive visual and structural inspections on completed welds to ensure 100% leak-proof integrity and superior craftsmanship.
Champion a culture of safety by maintaining a clean workspace and following all occupational health and safety protocols daily.
Qualifications
You must hold a valid Journeyman Welder certification backed by an up-to-date and active ABSA B-Pressure ticket.
Demonstrate a strong, practical background in delivering top-tier MIG welds within a demanding, high-volume manufacturing setting.
Previous experience working for industry-leading truck tank manufacturers (e.g., Westech, Rebel, Foremost, Jasper Tank, Hams Tank, or Wabash) is a massive asset that will fast-track your application.
We encourage applications from both newly certified B-Pressure welders hungry to learn and seasoned tradespeople looking for stability.
Candidates should supply their own essential welding PPE and basic hand tools, while we take care of all the major shop machinery.
You must live locally or be positioned within a reasonable daily commuting distance to our state-of-the-art facility in Nisku, AB.
