You will be responsible for reviewing financial statements, issuing discharge documentation, and maintaining strict adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while working across multiple internal systems.
Position Type: 12-Month Contract (Extension & Permanent Conversion Possible)
Location: Montreal, Quebec (Hybrid – 4 Days On-Site)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Overtime potential)
Pay Rate: 27.14 Hr

Responsibilities
Transaction & Document Processing: Review financial statements, issue discharge documentation, and execute specialized back-office transactions across four primary stations accurately and on time.
SLA & Productivity Management: Prioritize daily workload to consistently meet or exceed established operational benchmarks, scorecards, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal team members and external partners to resolve incoming transaction requests, process adjustments within authority levels, and escalate non-standard or high-risk issues appropriately.
Compliance & Risk Management: Apply due diligence and maintain strict adherence to internal operating policies, confidentiality standards, enterprise frameworks (e.g., AML, Business Continuity Management), and regulatory guidelines.
Process Improvement: Actively review daily operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions to strengthen operating models and elevate overall service quality.
Qualifications
Language Skills: Fully bilingual in English and French (written and verbal) is required.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in banking, financial services, or back-office operations.
Domain Knowledge: Previous experience with mortgage products, discharge processes, or loan/deposit documentation is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: High degree of computer literacy and tech-savviness; proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) with a proven ability to quickly learn proprietary internal operating platforms.
Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, finance, or a related field.
