Responsibilities
KYC & AML Compliance: Conduct thorough Know Your Customer (KYC) checks, accurately document findings, maintain precise records, and collaborate with compliance and investigation teams on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requests.
Customer & Partner Support: Deliver direct customer support through both inbound/outbound phone calls and written correspondence (emails). Respond to inquiries efficiently while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Operational Execution: Process specialized transactions accurately and on time, strictly adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), operational procedures, and enterprise frameworks.
Issue Escalation & Resolution: Identify, investigate, and escalate non-standard, high-risk, or complex operational issues to the appropriate internal partners to ensure prompt resolution.
Process Improvement: Continuously review internal operational workflows and contribute actionable ideas to enhance service quality, efficiency, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
Fluency: Fully bilingual in both English and French (written, reading, and spoken proficiency required).
Experience: 5–7 years of experience in the banking/financial services industry.
Call Center Experience: Proven experience handling both telephone interactions and administrative back-office work.
Compliance Background: Direct hands-on experience conducting KYC checks and handling financial/client documentation.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Key Soft Skills:
Quick Learner: Ability to rapidly adapt to changing policies, procedures, and new software applications.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
Critical Thinking: Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and consistently meet strict SLA metrics.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) designation.
Familiarity with Money Market (MM) and Foreign Exchange (FX) products (e.g., options, FX spots/forwards, deposits, loans).
