Do you come from a minimum of 3 years of full-cycle Accounting or Bookkeeping experience? This role will require someone who is well-versed in Financial Reports and Budgeting as well. This position is a 12-month Maternity Leave role with the possibility of extension.

You will be responsible for handling the day-to-day Accounting functions, preparing reports, reviewing the General Ledger and preparing Financial Statements.

Great working hours! Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with flexibility (you can start earlier and end earlier!)

Responsibilities
Balance and maintain accurate General Ledger, Documents and reports
Accurately and effectively complete month-end and year end, keeping files up to date and organized accordingly
Create invoices and manage Accounts Receivables
Code and document all vendor invoices maintaining proper records
Track bank and account balances
Prepare Quarterly and Annual HST remittances
Complete Accounts Payable and Receivable tasks on a daily basis in QuickBooks (Desktop and QuickBooks Online)
Manage contacts and information on all accounts
Provide support in preparing the organizations annual conference
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience working in a Full Cycle Accounting or Bookkeeping role.
Ability to review, read and complete financial statements.
Experience working with QuickBooks Desktop would be a requirement for this position
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines
Experience completing expenses through Quickbooks
