Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements: Partner with internal users (front office to back office) to gather, define, and document functional requirements for equity and fixed-income trade processing systems.
Platform Integration: Collaborate with application development and support teams to integrate vendor, global, and proprietary applications into a cohesive technology architecture.
Trade Lifecycle Support: Support platforms responsible for trade capture, allocation, settlement, repository, and regulatory/internal reporting.
Operational Execution: Assist in driving downstream interface improvements supporting local trading and sales activities.
Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the primary liaison between technology groups, risk, finance, and trading operations to resolve system issues and deliver business-critical enhancements.
Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Seniority: 8+ years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst within complex corporate or financial technology environments.
- Capital Markets Knowledge: Proven experience with Equities and/or Fixed Income securities, trade execution, and post-trade processing.
- Trade Lifecycle Understanding: Deep familiarity with trade capture, allocation, settlement, and reporting workflows.
- SDLC & Integration: Strong experience working with vendor software integrations, proprietary applications, and cross-platform downstream interfaces.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of effectively translating business needs into technical specifications for development and support teams.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with both electronic trade-enabled and over-the-counter (OTC) market operations.
