Responsibilities
As a Senior Claims Analyst, you will:
Partner with business and technology teams to support the continuous delivery of claims solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
Lead and contribute to the development of business requirements, ensuring solutions address operational needs and business objectives.
Analyze current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions that reduce inefficiencies and enhance outcomes.
Collaborate with technology partners to prioritize defects, enhancements, and initiatives within the delivery backlog.
Work with regional stakeholders to understand business processes, clarify requirements, and identify opportunities for standardization and improvement.
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies while proactively recommending solutions and escalating concerns when required.
Support change management activities through communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Maintain initiative documentation, reporting, and tracking to ensure transparency and alignment.
Monitor benefits and outcomes to ensure initiatives achieve their intended objectives.
Support Business Leads by providing analysis, insights, and coordination throughout key initiatives.
Qualifications
You are an analytical thinker, relationship builder, and change champion with experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. You bring:
5+ years of experience in property/casualty insurance or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
Experience gathering business requirements, analyzing processes, and supporting technology-enabled initiatives.
Strong communication, facilitation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives.
The ability to inspire collaboration, build team engagement, and create momentum around transformation efforts.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
A completed or actively pursuing post-secondary degree/certificate, or equivalent industry experience.
Completed CIP designation or equivalent Business Analysis certification.
Nice to Have
Experience with claims platforms and integrations such as:
Mitchell
ERAC
Xactware
Progi
HCAI
Bilingualism is considered an asset.
