Responsibilities
Analysis and Vision: Accurately define business requirements in collaboration with designated stakeholders, aligning solutions with the overarching vision architecture.
Agility and Scrum: Act as a Product Owner (PO) or Quality Lead as required; actively participate in backlog estimation and Scrum events.
Process Optimization: Model and revise business processes using BPMN standards, identifying opportunities for organizational transformation and improvement.
Quality Assurance and Testing: Develop testing strategies, draft test specifications, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system integrity.
Change Management Support: Design training materials, document new procedures, and support users during transition and production phases.
Governance: Validate solution compliance with architecture advisors and rigorously document decisions to ensure long-term knowledge retention.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related administrative field.
Core Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including at least 3 years in system steering activities (integrated testing, production launches, organizational optimization) within large-scale organizations.
Project Expertise: Successful completion of two major mandates as a BA within large-scale projects (over 4,000 p-d), covering requirement definition, stakeholder management, and strategic analysis.
Specialization: Demonstrated experience of at least 200 p-d in complex process optimization and drafting acceptance test specifications.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in BPMN standards, Agile documentation tools, and business architecture principles.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
