Responsibilities
Internal coordination
Act as the liasion between the Sales, Order Desk, Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure smooth communication and on-time delivery.
Inquiry to Quote: Prepare accurate customer quotes and NIC (New Item Creation) forms to ensure all product data is captured correctly from the start.
Customer Portals: Navigate and manage various e-comm and reporting portals to maintain up-to-date listings and pull critical data.
Presentations & Research: Create compelling customer presentations and conduct comp shops to analyze the market and see how we stack up against the competition.
Product & Production Coordination
Factory Liaison: Work directly with the factory to obtain item quotes, production timelines, and technical product specifications.
Production Orders: Collaborate with the Order Desk to transform confirmed sales into formal production orders.
Sample Management: Coordinate the request, creation, and shipping of product samples to clients, ensuring they meet all technical requirements.
3. Reporting & Analysis
Inventory Mastery: Generate and analyze POS (Point of Sale) and inventory reports to ensure we are meeting demand and maintaining healthy stock levels.
Technical Specs: Gather and organize complex technical info and product specs to ensure client compliance and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
Organizational skills
Strong computer skills
Data Entry proficiency
2+ years in sales support, commercial coordination, or a similar role
English spoken with functional French
English-speaking internal and external [clients/partners/employees] located outside Quebec on a [daily/regular] basis
