In this role, you won't just crunch numbers—you will act as an in-house compensation consultant. Supporting two major corporate portfolios (Business Banking and the Chief Operations Office), you will deliver high-quality analytics, market intelligence, and creative design solutions that directly influence compensation policies and incentive plans. Responsibilities
Market Intelligence & Analytics: Lead all aspects of the market intelligence cycle, including research, end-to-end employee role matching, data validation, and trend monitoring.
Compensation Modeling: Build, maintain, and optimize detailed compensation models and equity valuations to support cyclical reviews and ad-hoc projects.
Strategic Recommendations: Interpret large datasets to deliver clear, data-driven compensation recommendations and presentations to business leaders.
Plan Design & Implementation: Assist in the development, evaluation, and rollout of tailored compensation solutions, policies, and incentive structures.
Process Improvement: Bring a creative lens to the function by finding efficiencies, automating workflows, and enhancing how data is managed.
Qualifications
Must-Have Hard Skills & Experience
3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, Finance, or an analytical corporate function.
Excel Super-User: Advanced mastery of Excel (complex formulas, data modeling, pivoting, and macro troubleshooting) is essential.
Market Intelligence Expertise: Proven experience navigating market intelligence cycles and a strong understanding of market compensation data.
Compensation Foundations: Direct experience supporting compensation analysis, evaluations, or recommendations.
Soft Skills
Impeccable Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy, ensuring data integrity across all models and deliverables.
Persuasive Communication: The ability to translate complex data into a compelling story and clear recommendations for stakeholders.
Accountability & Agility: A proactive self-starter who manages deadlines independently and learns new concepts quickly.
Education & Certifications
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have: HRPA alignment (CHRP/CHRL) or working towards a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
