We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Specialist with a strong focus on Ariba systems to join our client's central supply chain contracts team. The primary focus of this role is to enhance our client's Ariba system in collaboration with the IS group, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize functionality and usability. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead efforts to improve Ariba functionality and usability, focusing on business process optimization.
· Analyze user interface issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Contribute to the development of a business case for Ariba enhancements, outlining requirements and benefits.
· Collaborate with the IS group to identify opportunities for enhancements to the Ariba system.
· Work closely with supply chain leadership to understand needs and priorities.
· Provide expertise on Ariba modules, including contract management and eSourcing for goods and services.
· Conduct user testing and provide feedback to ensure optimal system performance.
· Develop and implement a plan for Ariba enhancement projects, including timelines and resource requirements.
Qualifications
Requirements:
· Expertise in Ariba system administration and configuration.
· Proven track record of enhancing Ariba processes and functionality.
· Familiarity with SAP is beneficial but not required.
· Experience with contract lifecycle management is an asset.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Willingness to work on-site in Calgary preferred, but remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
