As a Controller, you will join the leadership team as a vital financial business partner. You will guide site management to achieve objectives and provide the financial direction needed to optimize performance.
This is a hybrid role offering the perfect balance of leadership, collaboration, and autonomy.

Responsibilities
• Financial Leadership: Partner across departments to lead cost-saving initiatives and provide financial guidance to improve plant performance.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate the budgeting, forecasting, and standard costing processes based on cost-center and business indicators.
• Analysis & Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports, presentations, and variance analyses with clear qualitative insights.
• Internal Controls & Audits: Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets, identify risks, and participate in internal/external audits.
• Operational Monitoring: Monitor inventories (finished goods, raw materials, WIP, fixed assets) and support business cases for capital expenditures.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in accounting or CPA designation ( an asset)
Manufacturing industry experience (an asset).
Experience in a leadership role.
Bilingual (French and English)
Note on English Proficiency: Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both verbal and written). Specifically, the employee will need to collaborate with and provide necessary support to colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French.
