Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this Data Analyst at this Healthcare leader in Ville Saint-Laurent;
Data Product & Semantic Modeling Development
Build and maintain business-ready data products and semantic models that translate curated enterprise data into accessible structures for analytics and reporting. Design, develop, and maintain semantic layer datasets aligned with business logic, KPIs, and reporting standards.
Data Transformation & SQL Optimization
Perform data transformations, aggregations, and modelling within the Gold / Presentation layer, applying business rules while maintaining data integrity and compliance. Write and optimize complex queries using SQL to support analytics, reporting performance, and data model efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance Alignment
Collaborate with enterprise data and governance teams to refine layer datasets, ensuring alignment between technical data structures and business requirements. Identify and resolve data quality, performance, and model alignment issues.
Conflict Resolution & Standardization
Resolve complex conflicts between business definitions, KPIs, and data models, ensuring consistency with enterprise standards.
Documentation & Lineage Management
Document data models, semantic layers, and analytics solutions, including business definitions, mappings, and technical specifications. Contribute to the creation, maintenance, and evolution of Data Contracts, contextual data layers, and business ontologies.
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this Data Analyst at this Healthcare leader in Ville Saint-Laurent;
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically requires 3–5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-related roles.
Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis.
Experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and semantic modeling (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling).
Experience working with curated datasets (Gold / Presentation layer) and analytics-ready data.
Experience working with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Databricks or similar).
Familiarity with version control, CI/CD workflows, and collaborative development practices (e.g., Git, GitHub, pull/merge request workflows).
Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management concepts.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills with effective communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries is preferred.
