Responsibilities
Review annual and monthly budgets against actual spending. Aggregate data from employee expenses and vendor invoices, analyze variances (e.g., event spend, travel), and compile reports showing breakdown and justification for over/underspend.
Review and ensure accuracy of employee-submitted expense reports. Ensure correct coding to specific GL accounts (e.g., meals, parking, wellness, events) and appropriate cost centers, and process payments through internal systems.
Monitor organizational spending throughout the fiscal year to ensure departments stay strictly within their allocated budgets.
Identify, analyze, and explain discrepancies between planned budgets and actual spending.
Qualifications
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a blended accounting/financial analysis role.
SAP experience is strongly preferred.
Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills (proficiency in pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).
Proficiency in the Korean language (reading, writing, and speaking) is considered a very strong asset.
Currently enrolled in, or having completed, the final stages of a CPA designation is an asset, but not mandatory.
