Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst - Costing, you will be responsible for analyzing a company's production costs to help determine optimal selling prices, identify areas of potential savings, and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with production, finance and management teams to collect and analyze relevant financial and operational data.
- Analyze production costs for each product or service.
- Determine the direct and indirect costs associated with production.
- Track cost changes and identify deviations from forecasts.
- Prepare reports and analyses for management.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify areas of cost improvement.
- Participate in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Propose recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce production costs.
- All other related tasks
Qualifications
- CPA designation obtained or in the process of being obtained, a considerable asset
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong technical understanding of accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent command of Excel (Lookup, Pivot Tables)
- Bilingualism (oral and written)
