Responsibilities
Reconciliation & Reporting: Handle daily bank account reconciliations and investigate GFX variances and balancing reports.
Investigation: Resolve outstanding items and online support cases in a timely manner, adhering strictly to internal policies.
Account Certification: Perform monthly certifications on Frontier and prepare monthly Revenue Payback and FATCA remittances.
Operational Support: Provide high-quality service to internal business partners and traders regarding reconciliation inquiries.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency and support the manager in documenting and mentoring new processes.
Compliance & Audit: Participate in audit walkthroughs and gather necessary documentation for internal and external audit requests.
Team Support: Act as a backup for team members and represent the department manager during absences.
Qualifications
Core Experience: Proven experience in bank account reconciliation within an Operations or Production environment is required.
Educational Background: A solid background in Accounting is essential for success in this role.
Technical Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions), Word, and strong keyboarding skills.
Familiarity with AS400/Global Bulk systems is considered a significant asset.
Experience with Frontier software is highly preferred.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a laser-focus on accuracy.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify the root cause of process failures.
Ability to manage competing priorities and consistently meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Availability: Must be able to work shifts and statutory holidays if required.
