Responsibilities
- Equipment Handling: Safely drive Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Order Picker, or Electric Walkie machinery in active warehouse settings.
- Freight Management: Efficiently load, unload, stage, and position materials for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inventory Control: Utilize RF barcode scanners to accurately track inventory movement and update warehouse software.
- Facility Standards: Conduct routine pre-shift equipment inspections and help maintain a safe, hazard-free workplace.
Qualifications
- Active Certification: Valid license for at least one core lift truck (Reach, Counterbalance, Order Picker, Dockstocker, or Walkie).
- Proven Track Record: At least 1 year of recent experience running industrial equipment in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
- Strong Work Ethic: Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a proactive attitude towards helping your team.
- Safety Awareness: Strict compliance with facility rules, proper PPE usage, and provincial safety standards.
