Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Load, feed, and monitor production machinery, including press, drilling, and threading stations.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts and measure dimensions using callipers, micrometers, and precision instruments.
- Material Handling: Lift, stage, and move raw materials (up to 50 lbs) across the production area.
- Shop Maintenance: Keep stations clean, adhere to strict safety standards, and assist cross-functional logistics teams as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands-on Experience: Previous background in machine operation, assembly, or industrial general labor.
- Tool Proficiency: Demonstrated skill operating callipers and precision measuring tools.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10-hour shift.
- Gear & Travel: CSA-approved safety footwear and reliable transit to the job site in Brantford.
