Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Consistently lift, stack, and move boxes/products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout 8 or 12-hour shifts.
- Machine Operation: Load raw materials onto conveyors, monitor automated machinery, and safely off-bear finished products.
- Quality Control: Visually inspect finished goods to ensure strict conformance with facility standards.
- Maintenance & Safety: Keep work areas hazard-free, clear minor machine jams using lock-out tag-out protocols, and report malfunctions.
- Team Collaboration: Review production schedules, read digital displays, and communicate seamlessly with supervisors to prevent bottlenecks.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to continuously lift 50 lbs and stand, bend, or walk for the duration of a shift.
- Communication: Clear, professional verbal and written English skills (required for reading safety manuals and digital gauges).
- Technical Aptitude: Basic math skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn machine controls.
- Reliability: High school diploma (or equivalent), a clear criminal background check, and reliable transportation to Paris, ON.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or general labour settings is an asset but not required.
