Responsibilities
- Process and review files pending quality control to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain and update client databases to support efficient customs clearance
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely release of files
- Respond to client inquiries and follow up on missing or incomplete information
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve operational issues
- Support client onboarding and maintain accurate client profiles
- Contribute to team development by training colleagues and identifying/correcting data errors
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in customs and/or international freight forwarding in an operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of the customs clearance process, including Canadian regulations, classification and valuation rules
- Advanced ability to analyze complex situations, anticipate challenges, and manage priorities independently
- Assets: CCS, CTCS
