Do you have a "gearhead" DNA and a passion for mechanical precision? At our SE Calgary shop, we believe that world-class industrial performance begins with a flawless foundation. We are looking for a disciplined, mechanically minded professional to lead the charge in our Restoration and Prep Department.
...
This isn’t a general labor gig; it’s a role for a craftsman who enjoys the "mechanical puzzle." You will be responsible for the surgical teardown, technical decontamination, and mission-ready staging of specialized industrial assets.
Your Core Mission
Surgical Teardown: Utilize your mechanical intuition to systematically dismantle complex equipment. You are the authority over your toolbox, using a variety of hand and power tools to strip machinery to its core components with care and efficiency.
Precision Decontamination: Execute high-standard restorations of industrial parts. You will ensure every component is stripped of grease, oxidation, and debris, achieving our "Gold Standard" finish before the next stage of production.
Logistics Architecture: Act as the final staging lead—organizing, securing, and prepping heavy machinery for transport. You ensure that our assets arrive at the client site in showroom-quality condition.
Integrity Inspection: Serve as the final line of defense. You will evaluate parts for wear and ensure that every high-value component is handled with professional integrity throughout the cycle.
The Specialist Profile
Mechanical Aptitude: You instinctively understand the "how and why" of machinery. You can look at a complex assembly and see the most efficient path to taking it apart.
Tool Command: You are highly proficient and safe with pneumatic tools, torque wrenches, and industrial cleaning systems.
The "Clean Slate" Mindset: You are detail-obsessed. You aren’t satisfied until every bolt is accounted for and every surface is spotless.
Industrial Stamina: You thrive in an active, fast-moving shop environment and possess the physical strength to manage heavy components throughout the day.
Advantages
Consistent day shift schedule with early afternoon finish times.
Competitive hourly wage of $22.50.
Opportunity for a quick meet and greet followed by a job shadow before starting.
All necessary tools and safety equipment (glasses, ear plugs, gloves) are provided by the company.
Stable work environment within a production-oriented shop.
Responsibilities
Machine Prep: Master the teardown process for 2–4 units per day, ensuring they are installation-ready for our clients.
Tool Operation: Skilled use of manual and powered shop tools for equipment disassembly.
Team Synergy: Contribute to a fast-paced production-line environment with a focus on consistency.
Manual Dexterity: Comfortable lifting and moving machinery across various workstations throughout the shift.
Operational Excellence: Keep your station organized to hit daily production targets and maintain safety.
Phase One Focus: This role begins with a 90-day focus on precision cleaning and dismantling—the essential foundation for our equipment standards.
Qualifications
Tool Proficiency: Proven experience safely operating basic hand and power tools.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting 30–40 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs with a partner.
Strong Work Ethic: Excellent organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-based production setting.
Reliability: Consistent and dependable transportation to our Southeast Calgary location.
Safety First: Must own and wear steel toes shoe.
