Advanced Data Transformation & DAX: Author complex data preparation workflows using Power Query (M language) and develop robust analytical calculations using advanced Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
Data Modeling & Schema Architecture: Construct scalable semantic architectures and multi-tier dimensional frameworks featuring optimized fact and dimension tables under standard Star Schema designs.
Advanced Querying & ETL Pipelines: Write and tune complex SQL statements to extract, stage, and transform data from massive data warehouses, assisting Lead Developers with SSIS package creation and data ingestion streams where necessary.
Data Quality & Governance Administration: Oversee strict data cleansing, validation, and data quality metrics while configuring secure workspace publishing, automated data refreshes, and Row-Level Security (RLS) guardrails.
Statistical Modeling & Analysis: Apply rigorous mathematical and statistical techniques to build predictive algorithms, model diverse business scenarios, and isolate data patterns or operational risks.
Stakeholder Consultation & Requirements Clarification: Partner closely with business groups, functional experts, and Data Architects to elicit complex requirements, facilitate solution design workshops, and manage expectations.
Technical Documentation & Handoff: Author detailed data dictionaries, KPI metrics catalogs, and source-to-target mapping books while delivering clear end-user operational training and platform documentation.
Qualifications
Core Analytics Seniority: 5+ years of progressive professional experience serving as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or Data Scientist within large enterprise IT frameworks or complex data warehousing projects.
Power BI & Service Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for report publishing, app workspace management, and configuring data governance controls like Row-Level Security (RLS).
Analytical Querying Languages: Advanced proficiency writing complex, optimized SQL statements for data extraction, transformation, and structural validation across large relational or multi-dimensional data stores.
Data Engineering & Modeling Depth: Demonstrated experience building data pipelines (ETL/ELT) and setting up Star Schema dimensional designs (Fact & Dimension tables) using Power Query (M Language).
Quantitative & Statistical Acumen: Solid background applying foundational mathematics, statistical modeling, data mining, or programmatic scripts to analyze high-volume, complex structured and unstructured sources.
