Responsibilities
Strategic Program Governance: Lead and oversee the end-to-end development of program strategies, from project inception through formal close-out, ensuring adherence to structured delivery frameworks.
Stakeholder Synchronization: Partner with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts across clinical, business, enterprise, and technical units to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements.
Executive Expectation Management: Articulate high-level executive expectations and translate them into actionable project deliverables, milestones, and baseline charters.
Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify, monitor, and manage project risks, implementing systematic change controls and escalating issues appropriately to protect the critical path.
Relationship & Agreement Building: Establish and maintain successful partnerships with high-level internal and external partners, facilitating collaboration, driving consensus, and resolving team conflicts effectively.
Change Management & Communication: Develop and execute comprehensive organizational change management strategies, communication artifacts, and timely change notices.
Meeting & Lifecycle Coordination: Organize and lead critical project meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations, maintaining meticulous action item logs and tracking timely follow-ups.
Reporting & Progress Telemetry: Develop professional status reports, maintain monitoring logs, and prepare executive summary decks covering timelines, project cadence, and upcoming touchpoints for leadership governance.
Qualifications
Core Project Management Seniority: Demonstrated experience leading and managing complex, multi-tiered IT or business transformation projects from inception to close-out.
Public Sector Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience navigating highly structured governance models and project environments within a Canadian public sector framework.
Stakeholder & Resource Planning: Advanced proficiency in stakeholder management, resource capacity modeling, and handling competing multi-stakeholder priorities under tight deadlines.
Methodological Delivery Literacy: Strong working knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) framework and structured project management lifecycles.
Complex Environment Coordination: Experience working alongside program managers in complex landscapes to maintain progress reporting, mitigate risks, and manage vendors and third-party partners.
Documentation & Analytical Synthesis: Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to produce high-quality project plans, timeline tracking matrices, and issue logs.
