Reporting directly to management, the Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in providing technical advice and growing business relationships from our Boucherville offices. Responsibilities
Handle inquiries from commercial clients by phone and email.
Analyze clients' technical needs and recommend the appropriate hydraulic components or systems.
Prepare, evaluate, and rigorously follow up on quotes and sales contracts.
Coordinate the department's shared inbox and distribute requests based on the required expertise.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to verify parts and component availability with manufacturers.
Ensure excellent after-sales service and keep the customer database up to date.
Qualifications
Concrete and mandatory experience in the field of hydraulic systems, heavy machinery mechanics, or related industrial equipment.
Excellent communication skills in French, both spoken and written.
Functional bilingualism (English) required for interpreting technical catalogs and liaising with suppliers.
Strong professional autonomy, ability to adapt quickly in an SME environment, and a highly developed sense of initiative.
Justification for the Language Requirement
As part of their duties as an Inside Sales Representative in Boucherville, the position holder will be required to interact daily with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners located outside of Quebec. Proficiency in English is therefore required to consult technical documentation, validate part specifications in global catalogs, and negotiate procurement, which is conducted predominantly in English.
