Responsibilities
• Execute heavy issuing of customer invoices, including handling complex cross-border invoicing and billing requirements.
• Perform monthly accounts payable (AP) functions, managing high-volume supplier invoices, general checks, banking, and tracking products on the water.
• Maintain inventory tracking for approximately 20 SKUs and monitor Work in Progress (WIP) accounts.
• Manage and maintain general ledgers and owner personal ledgers utilizing QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Assist with payroll administration, accounts receivable (AR) creation, and month-end closing reconciliations.
• Support the development and monitoring of budgets, financial statements, and year-end audit requests.
• Collaborate closely with operations and logistics teams on order status and inventory movements.
• Safeguard confidential financial data and adhere to standard accounting practices and internal controls.
Qualifications
• Post-secondary education or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on accounting, AP/AR, or bookkeeping experience in an SMB or manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with inventory tracking (e.g., SKUs, goods in transit/products on the water) and WIP accounting.
• Demonstrated experience with cross-border invoicing and high-volume data entry.
• Full-time availability to work 100% in-office (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) at the Downtown Toronto location.
