Due to strong growth opportunities, we are seeking an accomplished Lead Transport
Planner to join our high-performing, collaborative and enthusiastic team. Ideally located in
Vancouver, the position could also be based in our Calgary or Edmonton offices. With a
passion for Active Transportation, you will take a leading role in our transport planning
business in Western Canada.
You will have local knowledge and experience in Canada delivering transport planning
projects across a broad spectrum that may include Transportation Master Planning, Travel
Demand Management, Neighborhood Enhancement and Complete Streets. You will have
the ability to provide direction to teams and provide guidance to designers as projects
progress to pre-implementation.

Responsibilities
● Technical delivery of Transport Planning projects for public sector clients, that will include reporting and business case preparation.
● Build on your existing industry connections and experience to win and deliver project work
● Provide technical leadership to the wider team, to motivate and inspire junior team members
● Excellent communicator who enjoys engaging and influencing clients
Qualifications
● Degree qualified and proven experience in Transport Planning
● Be confident in communicating Transport Planning issues and solutions to a wide audience using first principles
● Excellent written and oral communicator
● Understanding of the regulatory framework for Transport Planning in Canada including municipal and ministry processes
● Experience in contributing to the development of engineering programs and business cases for transport infrastructure schemes
● Have experience across Active Mobility Modes not limited walking and cycling, Structure Planning, Transport Assessments and Development Control
● Pro-active and enthusiastic team player with an ability to work both independently and within an integrated wider team
