We are currently hiring a Legal Assistant to support our client in their Family Law Firm.

Responsibilities
As the Legal Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with clients and external legal firms via phone and email
- Drafting, preparing and organizing various documents (such as court applications, motions, briefs, and statements etc)
- Opening and closing files as well as billing, docketing time and collection of accounts
- Drafting letters, dictation, transitions, managing calendarscript
- Providing other legal administrative support as required
- Overtime may be necessary to prepare for trial and appeals
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a law clerk/paralegal training program or relevent, equivalent work experience
- Outstanding organization and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
- Must have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to interact with clients with a high level of professionalism
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Great communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Experience using PC Law, Divorce Mate highly preferred
