Responsibilities
What will you be doing?
• Ensure that all staff work in a safe manner using all safety equipment and procedures
• Ensure production equipment does not compromise product quality or food safety
• Complete all preventive maintenance as defined by equipment suppliers, and continuously
improve the preventive maintenance plans
• Responsible for purchase and inventory tracking of all chemicals, lubricants, spare parts and
tools necessary to ensure production equipment is kept in optimal working condition
• Develop, communicate, and engage with production planning for required equipment downtime
• Maintenance and repair of packaging systems, conveyor systems
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
• University Degree, College Diploma, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years electrical experience in a packaging/manufacturing environment
• Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematic diagrams
• Understanding and knowledge of GMP's
• Excellent hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities
