Responsibilities
- Demonstrate leadership by effectively managing teams of 20+ individuals, making informed decisions, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and labor laws.
- Lead and direct plant operations with a focus on achieving production goals and driving continuous improvement through identifying gaps/opportunities.
- Manage building and equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Identify training needs and develop coaching plans to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders.
- Quickly learn and understand production processes and products to address any issues and drive efficiency.
Qualifications
- Requires 2+ years of production experience including exhibiting leadership capabilities to improved results.
- Has experience overseeing a team of 20+ people.
- Willing to work the evening shift.
- Working in a unionized work environment will be considered a plus.
- Previous experience in production will be considered a plus.
