Role Specifics
Job Location: South Edmonton, Alberta
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: Highly competitive rate of $36.00/hour
Start Date: Immediate

Responsibilities
Expertly run traditional manual milling machines and lathes to craft highly precise components based strictly on provided engineering blueprints.
Use drill presses and other shop equipment for secondary operations.
Perform occasional setup and operation of CNC machinery as required by production needs.
Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
Upkeep all machinery through routine maintenance while keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on on finished parts to ensure they adhere to stringent tolerance requirements..
Qualifications
Demonstrated, verifiable professional background working directly as a talented Manual Machinist within a machine shop environment.
Strong knowledge of applied shop math, blueprint comprehension, and use of exact measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
Highly self-motivated individual with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
While manual machining is the core of this job, any previous hands-on experience setting up or running CNC systems will be considered an asset.
A proven track record of stellar attendance, dependability, and a strict adherence to workplace safety protocols.
