The incumbent will support the Brand Managers and help them with their daily tasks and responsibilities. He/she will assist, including corresponding with stakeholders, producing various reports, responding to enquiries, compiling materials for promotion and performing other related duties.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the marketing assistant in Laval:
- Balance and closure of the month of promotional expenses
- Management, follow-up and classification of the various files and projects
- Produce and compile business intelligence reports including sales, inventory and distribution reports.
- Perform a preliminary analysis of brand performance (sales results, costs, profitability, etc.)
- Create presentations targeting multiple stakeholders
- Prepare communications related to product launches, price changes, promotions, etc.
- Manage the inventory of products and promotional material
- Prepare necessary documentation for trade reviews
- Monitor and update sales forecasts
- Compile and send monthly debit notes (charges) to suppliers
- Management of the construction of displays
- Maintain promotional calendars
- Plan, prepare and attend marketing events and trade shows
- Ensure clear and concise communication with suppliers
- Work closely with the sales and purchasing departments
- Provide high level administrative support
Qualifications
To obtain this position as a marketing assistant in Laval, here is what you need:
- Bilingualism required (international suppliers)
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook,)
