Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Post daily banking, debit, and credit transactions accurately to the internal banking systems within a high-compliance framework.
Reconciliation: Conduct daily financial reconciliations, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with internal audit guidelines.
SLA Management: Manage high-volume workloads independently to consistently meet strict daily Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate operational risks while adhering closely to bank operating policies and procedures.
Process Improvement: Actively participate in daily team touchpoints to suggest and implement process efficiencies.
Internal Collaboration: Spend approximately 1 hour daily in internal alignment meetings to collaborate on work distribution and business objectives.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements:
Education: Post-secondary education completed.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of retail banking or financial services experience.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, with an emphasis on advanced Excel skills, alongside Word and Outlook.
Financial Acumen: Proven experience in financial reconciliation and a solid understanding of daily debit/credit processing.
Soft Skills for Success:
Meticulous Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy when handling high volumes of sensitive financial data.
Time Management: Strong organizational and prioritization skills to meet strict daily deadlines.
Adaptability: The ability to pivot quickly in response to changing policies, procedures, and technology upgrades.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for seamless internal collaboration.
Nice-to-Have Assets:
A background in Risk, Compliance, or Trade Processing.
Familiarity with Money Market (MM) and Foreign Exchange (FX) products (e.g., Options, FX spots/forwards, deposits, and loans).
Prior experience utilizing Global and WSS banking platforms.
