Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safely load, run, and unload compression presses following daily production schedules and routers.
- Quality & Precision: Perform ISO 9001 quality audits, weight checks, and first-off visual inspections.
- Finishing: Use hand tools (trimming knives, picks) to precision-trim finished components, label conforming products, and quarantine defects.
- Material Prep: Ensure raw stock is audited, weighed, and staged before press runs.
- Documentation & Safety: Log daily production counts accurately, keep a clean workspace, and maintain safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven track record in heavy manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Mechanical Skill: Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and hand-tool experience.
- Physical Readiness: Capability to handle heavy lifting and work comfortably in a hot production setting.
- Schedule Flexibility: Able to work a 12-hour rotating continental schedule (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, including alternating weekends).
- Commute: Must have a reliable personal vehicle (site is not accessible via public transit).
