Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading the Lethbridge production day shift team, and collaborating with other divisions to ensure maximum production efficiency.
Key responsibilities include: payroll management, mentorship, ability to motivate the team, scheduling, training, health and safety compliance, food quality assurance, workload organization, and following up and hitting production KPIs and production targets.
Foster a culture of process improvement and innovation within the production team.
Manage the afternoon shift production team, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Identify opportunities to decrease costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Implement strategies to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency.
Uphold and improve safety standards across the production process.
Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe working environment and promptly address any safety concerns.
Qualifications
What you bring:
Ability to relocate / work at the Lethbridge plant
3-5 years of experience in a Canadian production supervisor role (including union teams).
Adaptability
Strong understanding of food production processes, cost management, and KPI improvement. Food production supervisor experience preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to safety standards and continuous improvement.
