As a Production Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day production as a Production Supervisor, ensuring the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and techniques on the shop floor.
As a leader we're looking for someone accountable for all aspects of their teams performance, and have the experience in mentoring and leading them.
We're looking for some who prides themselves in achieving safe, high-quality, and cost-effective production, meeting commitments to customers, employees, and suppliers.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
Foster a safe and secure work environment, ensuring compliance with all OH&S and safety regulations.
Supervise, coach, and mentor a team of 10-20 employees, ensuring they meet safety, quality, production, and cost requirements.
Hold employees accountable for performance, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain quality standards through observation of employee work practices.
Contribute to production decision-making with other supervisors, enhancing meeting effectiveness through preparation and participation.
Cultivate a positive workplace culture through your teamwork, open communication, and collaborative relationships.
Control operating expenses within budget, providing timely explanations for variances.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of production reporting and data collection.
Assist with production tasks when necessary, such as during high demand or to learn new processes.
Qualifications
What you bring:
3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor
A proven track record of supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership abilities in a multicultural workforce.
Experience in flow-line production, lean manufacturing, and significant experience in the manufacturing industry.
Strong communication skills
A safety first mindset
Ability to motivate, mentor, and support a multicultural production team including supporting with any disciplinary conversations and payroll
