Responsibilities
Direct assigned infrastructure initiatives through their entire lifecycle, encompassing planning, design, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover. Oversee project budgets by diligently tracking commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and contingencies to ensure efficient resource utilization. Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders and external partners, actively managing the performance of specialty consultants, general contractors, and equipment suppliers. Ensure all construction and renovation activities are carefully sequenced to minimize operational disruptions in occupied and active facilities.
Qualifications
Substantial proven experience steering construction, building infrastructure, and renovation projects concurrently through multiple phases of delivery. Deep knowledge of construction procurement, tendering processes, contract administration, commissioning, and regulatory building codes. Strong proficiency in developing detailed scopes of work and accurately interpreting technical information from architectural drawings and specifications. Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and vendor-management capabilities, coupled with the ability to escalate emerging risks and budget pressures appropriately. A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or relevant construction-focused professional education is highly preferred.
