Position Summary
We are seeking a highly seasoned Project Manager/Leader to serve as the Release Lead for a critical phase within a large-scale Business Transformation Program. In this role, you will orchestrate one of multiple high-impact releases, collaborating closely with a Business Transformation Partner to ensure strict adherence to scope and timelines. Managing multiple workstreams involving over 100 team members, you will utilize expert project delivery and governance standards to ensure the successful planning, execution, and deployment of complex enterprise solutions.

Work Requirements: Full-time onsite presence to foster collaboration, maintain team alignment, and provide hands-on leadership within a fast-moving environment.
Contract Duration: Initial contract assignment based on the program lifecycle, with extension options determined by remaining contract value, unused days, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities
Release Planning & Governance: Develop and maintain highly structured Microsoft Project plans, ensuring flawless coordination across multiple workstreams while adhering to established enterprise delivery procedures.
Scope & Timeline Enforcement: Implement strict scope control measures to prevent scope creep, safeguarding budget integrity, resource efficiency, and program timelines.
Deployment & Cutover Strategy: Design and oversee comprehensive deployment and cutover strategies, proactively tracking and mitigating risks and cross-functional dependencies.
RAID Management: Define, log, and rigorously manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) to ensure seamless delivery and minimal operational disruption.
Executive Reporting: Deliver regular, transparent, data-driven updates to Program Leadership and Senior Executives regarding project status, milestones, and system readiness.
Change Management & Business Readiness: Partner with organizational change teams to ensure all business and technical stakeholders are informed, aligned, and prepared for deployment windows.
Quality Assurance Compliance: Review project deliverables to guarantee that all releases meet baseline transformation goals, industry best practices, and corporate standards.
Qualifications
Must-Haves & Mandatory Requirements:
10+ years of experience in project/program management, specifically leading large-scale enterprise initiatives or major transformations.
Project Management Certification: Active PMP or PRINCE2 certification is mandatory.
Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project for structured tracking, task clarity, and resource leveling.
Proven track record leading massive teams of 100+ individuals in dynamic, aggressive, and fast-paced environments.
Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills, with extensive experience presenting directly to C-suite leadership.
Deep expertise in RAID management, strategic problem-solving, and decisive conflict resolution.
Preferred & Desired Skills:
Experience managing retail ERP greenfield implementations, supply chain warehouse management modernizations, or POS replacements.
Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP BTP, Blue Yonder (BY) Product Suite, S4 HANA, iCertis, or Ariba.
Knowledge of organizational change management and technology-driven retail innovation frameworks.
