ITIL).• Knowledge of Real Estate Appraisal Services and Mortgage processing industries strongly desired.• 10+ years managing development professionals, while remaining hands-on to the details.• 10+ years directly managing software projects.• Experience managing and coaching multi-disciplinary teams across Infrastructure/Dev Ops, Software Engineering, and Data Science.• Proven track record of building data-rich/heavy enterprise systems with a focus on security, reliability, scalability and performance.• Knowledge of Agile/Lean practices such as Scrum, Kanban, User Stories, Story Mapping, Story Point Estimation, TDD, ATDD, CI, CD etc. Certifications are beneficial.• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Service Desk, SharePoint or other resource management and tracking tools.• Strong working knowledge of J2EE/Java.• Knowledge of .NET, PHP, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Java Script, JQuery, design patterns and web frameworks is a strong asset.• Understanding of SOAP, MQ Series, RESTful web services and architecture.• Experience with Solution Integration Tools such as MuleSoft, BizTalk, IBM WebSphere, Oracle ESB.• Solid knowledge of Networking, Servers (Windows, Linux), Desktops, Telecommunications, Security and Service Desk expertise is required.• Experience with Cloud, LAN/WAN (Citrix), Microsoft Technologies, Storage/Back Up Technologies and Cyber Security would be ideal.• Experience with managing enterprise class incident management tools and issue tracking systems (JIRA) and defining processes.• Experience leading large software teams (3-4 Scrum Teams) and multiple simultaneous projects.• Able to demonstrate a history of applying breakthrough thinking as a part of your leadership approach. Wireline System Planners x 2 - Telecommunications - 12 months - Richmond Hill/BarrieLooking for two wireline system planners in Richmond Hill/Barrie to join one of Canada's largest telecommunications companies on an exciting deployment/expansion project. Individuals who have a background assisting in the Plan\Design\Coordinate HFC \ Coax \ Fiber Network ArchitectureAdvantagesHighly visible project working with one of Canada's largest Telecommunications Providers.Responsibilities• Plan\Design\Coordinate HFC \ Coax \ Fiber Network Architecture within our standards and guidelines associated with new service delivery, plant upgrades and rehabilitation activity while ensuring they are technically sound, serviceable and cost effective.• Field survey new and existing plant structures and routes for estimation and design of projects.• Initiate necessary permits, utility applications and drawings associated with fiber/coax plant installations.• Liaise with local utilities, municipalities and private property owners in order to facilitate the timely completion of projects.• Prepare cost estimates, bill of materials and various other documentations for associated projects.• Maintain and report on project status through project tracking system• Investigate, coordinate and provide detailed synopsis of special projects for budgetary purposes within required timelines.• Communicate with customer implementation specialists (CIS), construction department personnel, design contractors and developers to ensure a smooth flow of information between the groups.• All other duties as assignedQualifications• Post-secondary diploma in one of the following is preferred: Electronics Technology, Data Communications, Project Management or Civil Technology.• CATV or Telecom industry experience, preferably in Construction and/or Planning.• Working knowledge of CSA standards, municipal by-laws, regulatory and utility standards.• Excellent written and communication skills.• Strong organizational skills.• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AutoCAD and Adobe Acrobat• Self-motivated individual with strong multi-tasking and project management skills, able to work in a fast paced team environment.• Experience and formal training combined with demonstrated performance and ability may substitute for stipulated academic/experience requirements.• Must have a valid Ontario driver's license with a safe driving recordSummaryInterested applicants are encouraged to apply, those qualified will be contacted by a recruiter for the next steps.
