Responsibilities
As a Real Estate Operations Analyst, your responsibilities will be:
1. Deliver management reporting and analysis for portfolio managers and leadership team.
• Perform quarterly management reporting and fund-level portfolio analytics.
• Perform key metrics reporting including leasing, occupancy, and weighted average lease term reporting.
• Assist in global oversight of third-party property managers.
• Capacity and performance reporting for the Asset Management Oversight Committee.
• Other initiatives and special projects as required.
2. Prepare reporting and analytics for business development initiatives.
• Prepare the Global Real Estate (“GRE”) data definition dictionary and benchmarking.
• Perform portfolio data validation for investor RFPs and questionnaires.
• Assist with projects, analysis, and new initiatives.
3. Assist in new property technology initiatives and implementations.
• Perform business case analysis for new platform technologies.
• Support the roll-out of new technologies.
• Act as business side subject matter expert for GRE technology applications.
4. Coaching, mentoring and subject matter expert.
• Assist in the training of new users on GRE technology applications and processes.
• Form relationships and collaborate closely with internal clients, senior leadership, regional teams, and external partners.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years in an analysis role in the commercial real estate industry.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial real estate
• Strong financial analysis background and ability to bring best practices from previous experience.
• Advanced/Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. a focus
• Excellent collaboration and good relationship management skills.
• Good interpersonal skills – both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to process large amount of data.
• Skills in troubleshooting, understanding how to source information from our database systems and the ability to access building financials and leasing information from accounting/real estate systems.
• Knowledge of concepts related to leasing, building expenses, and capital expenditures will be an asset.
• Knowledge of Yardi Accounting System an asset.
• Power BI experience.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create and explain engaging presentation materials
