Responsibilities
1. Functional Design & Clean Core Execution
Guide the design and validation of SAP S/4HANA Human Resources processes to ensure alignment with standard capabilities.
Translate complex business requirements into fit-to-standard designs while identifying process inefficiencies to promote standardization and automation. Facilitate fit-to-standard workshops, documenting justified deviations and ensuring designs remain upgrade-safe and scalable.
Evaluate functional gaps and recommend appropriate solutions (configurations or standard extensions) in strict alignment with Clean Core principles.
2. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Integration
Collaborate across technical and functional groups—including Cybersecurity, Security and Governance, and HR Project Teams—to ensure unified process execution.
Validate and confirm integration requirements between the S/4HANA Core and external ecosystems, including Workday, SuccessFactors, Fieldglass, and analytics platforms.
Partner closely with system integrators to review, refine, and approve functional designs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
3. Governance, Testing & Deployment Readiness
Support functional decision-making within the governance framework, managing boundaries to mitigate late design changes and scope creep.
Define real-world functional test scenarios covering cross-system processes across SAP and Workday.
Validate HR master and transactional data readiness, establishing minimum standards for cutover, integration testing, and data integrity.
Contribute to training frameworks and change enablement workflows to enable a stable go-live and smooth day-one transition to operations.
Qualifications
Core Experience & Education
Education: University degree in Human Resources, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Tenure: 8+ years of dedicated SAP Human Resources experience, including involvement in at least one major ERP implementation or transformation program.
Ecosystem Depth: Substantial experience in IS support and enhancement workflows, alongside hands-on validation of enterprise ERP modernization solutions.
Technical Skillset
Deep functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA HR, encompassing the full worker lifecycle (hire-to-retire), payroll, compensation, and time management. Comprehensive understanding of data frameworks, master/transactional data integrity, and SAP reporting approaches (including embedded analytics).
