Responsibilities
Application Architecture & Platform Strategy: Define the overall structure, logical components, software layering, and system interfaces for enterprise work management applications.
Maximo Platform Engineering & Upgrades: Architect, configure, and refine IBM Maximo applications (including v7.6.1.2 and MAS 9.1 upgrades), optimizing platform performance, uptime, automation scripting, report development, and security.
ERP Integration & Data Modeling: Design and maintain scalable integration patterns connecting core asset management modules (Work Order Management, Preventive Maintenance, Configuration) with enterprise ERP systems and middleware.
Cloud & Infrastructure Transformation: Guide enterprise cloud adoption strategies, cloud-native integrations, and software-defined infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Functional & Technical Blueprinting: Author comprehensive functional and technical design documents, architectural models, user stories, and system workflow specifications across the work order lifecycle.
Risk Management & System Governance: Establish process management controls, perform system impact evaluations, and implement risk-mitigation strategies to ensure service continuity.
Stakeholder Consultation & Technical Advisory: Conduct design walkthroughs, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and deliver clear technical advice to business partners, senior leadership, and external vendors.
Qualifications
IT Seniority & Education: 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, systems engineering, or application architecture within a leadership capacity, paired with a post-secondary degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Mathematics (Strictly Required).
IBM Maximo Seniority & Upgrades: Extensive technical knowledge and development experience with IBM Maximo applications, specifically proficient in upgrades and development for Maximo 7.6.1.2 and MAS 9.1 (Strictly Required).
Public Sector Experience: Proven track record delivering IT architecture within public sector environments (Strictly Required).
Technical Advisory & Work Order Lifecycle: Demonstrated experience in a technical consulting role documenting functional/technical designs and configuring applications across the full work order lifecycle (Strictly Required).
Cloud Transformation & IaC: Hands-on experience leading major enterprise cloud transformations, software-defined infrastructure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Strictly Required).
ERP System Integrations: Extensive experience developing asset management applications and building integrations to enterprise ERP platforms.
