As a senior automation developer, you will bridge the gap between software development teams, QA analysts, and operational stakeholders. Operating fully onsite in Toronto within DevOps and Agile delivery frameworks, you will drive automated test execution using Microsoft Playwright, ReadyAPI/Postman, and JMeter. This position demands a technical quality assurance authority who can identify workflow automation opportunities, perform API and performance testing, conduct AODA compliance audits, and ensure high system reliability across cloud and enterprise platforms.

Integrate automated test suites into DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles.
Conduct accessibility compliance audits and remediation testing using tools like AXE and WAVE to meet AODA standards.
Investigate, document, isolate, and track software defects using test management tools such as Azure DevOps or ALM.
Collaborate with software developers and QA analysts to reproduce defects, recommend technical solutions, and refine test strategies.
Author comprehensive test plans, test cases, technical documentation, and quality reports for project stakeholders.
Qualifications
Core Technical & Automation Requirements
Testing Tenure: 10+ years of dedicated experience in software testing process planning, organization, and implementation across enterprise IT environments.
Test Automation Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience in test automation development utilizing Microsoft Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, or UFT within DevOps and Agile frameworks.
API & Performance Testing: Proven expertise performing automated API testing with ReadyAPI/Postman and performance/load testing with JMeter.
Test Management Tooling: Extensive experience using enterprise test management platforms such as Azure DevOps or Micro Focus ALM.
Accessibility Compliance: Practical experience conducting AODA compliance audits using tools like AXE and WAVE.
Cloud & Databases: Working knowledge of cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure) and database environments (SQL Server, Oracle).
Preferred Experience & Assets
Broad Environment Exposure: Experience testing web applications, microservices, APIs, .NET/Java platforms, and COTS systems.
SDLC Diversity: Deep familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps delivery methodologies.
