Responsibilities
Large-Scale ERP Project Leadership: Lead and manage multi-million-dollar enterprise ERP and HCM projects from concept and definition through planning, implementation, and close-out.
PeopleSoft HCM & Interface Delivery: Oversee technical and functional delivery of PeopleSoft HCM applications, including PeopleSoft Fluid and Classic Plus user interfaces, PeopleTools, and PUM upgrades.
Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Coordinate project deployments in cloud environments, specifically Microsoft Azure cloud platforms running Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Windows OS, and Oracle Databases.
Scope, Schedule & Financial Governance: Develop detailed integrated project plans, maintain master schedules, manage complex budgets across multiple funding streams, and enforce strict financial forecasting and cost reconciliations.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, presenting clear mitigation strategies to executive leadership and steering committees.
Resource Management & Team Direction: Source, onboard, and manage multidisciplinary project team members (including unionized personnel and fee-for-service consultants), clarifying roles, setting deliverables, and resolving resource conflicts.
Executive & Stakeholder Reporting: Establish and facilitate steering committees, stakeholder forums, and provide progress reports and briefings to senior executives.
Change Management & Standards Adherence: Implement change management strategies to support solution adoption while promoting project management best practices and information management principles.
Qualifications
Senior Project Management & ERP Leadership: 10+ years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager leading large-scale ERP initiatives valued at $5M+ (Strictly Required).
PeopleSoft HCM Expertise: Significant hands-on expertise and depth of experience with PeopleSoft HCM applications (Strictly Required).
PeopleTools & Interface Upgrades: Demonstrated experience implementing PeopleSoft Fluid and Classic Plus user interfaces, including PeopleTools and PUM upgrades (Strictly Required).
Azure & Database Environment Experience: Hands-on experience managing projects hosted on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms with RHEL/Windows OS and Oracle Databases (Strictly Required).
Public Sector Environment: Proven track record delivering complex IT initiatives within public sector or broader public-sector environments (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Formal project management training or certifications (PMP/PMBOK standards).
Prior experience managing PeopleSoft/HCM projects using public sector gating frameworks and business rules.
