Responsibilities

Complex Artifact Delivery: Author and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including Functional/Non-Functional requirements, System Requirements Specifications (SRS), Business Process Models, conceptual/logical Data Models, and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).
Governance & Approvals Navigation: Prepare materials and shepherd contextual/conceptual artifacts through corporate Architecture Governance Points and checkpoint review processes.
Agile & Sprint Leadership: Translate complex business needs into agile user stories, themes, and epics. Facilitate sprint planning, manage the product backlog, and execute interactive prototyping and user interface design.
Legacy & COTS Transformation: Conduct detailed feasibility analyses and scoping assessments for large-scale migrations out of integrated mainframe/mid-tier environments into modern Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) platforms like Oracle Siebel.
Workshop Facilitation: Plan and run structured Joint Requirements Planning (JRP) and Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions tailored precisely to diverse technical, vendor, and business audiences.
Testing & QA Partnership: Review and optimize test plans and strategies. Define integration and user acceptance testing (UAT) blueprints, manage defect logs, and provide technical guidance during milestone walkthroughs.
Compliance & Accessibility Oversight: Guarantee that all application designs, forms, and digital experiences strictly comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and user-centric digital standards.
Qualifications
Core Seniority: 8+ years of progressive professional experience as a Business Analyst operating within massive, integrated corporate or public sector landscapes.
Methodological Mastery: Deep knowledge of structured Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC), featuring advanced application of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Iterative delivery frameworks.
Modeling & Architecture Tooling: Demonstrable expertise in Business Object-Oriented Modeling, Unified Modeling Language (UML) techniques, data flow diagramming, and UI mockup generation tools.
Host Infrastructure Acumen: Proven experience working inside complex legacy environments (such as mainframes processing online and batch transactions) alongside distributed multi-tier databases.
