Responsibilities
Requirements & User Stories: Elicit, analyze, and refine functional requirements alongside business stakeholders and subject matter experts. Translate these needs into clear user stories and business-led acceptance criteria.
Dynamics 365 Functional Guidance: Provide functional expertise for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) configurations, including workflows, forms, views, dashboards, reports, and integrations.
Business Testing Ownership: Develop and document testing artifacts, including business test scenarios and test cases. Lead business validation activities across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.
Solution Validation: Verify configured workflows and interfaces against documented requirements, validating test outcomes to confirm business readiness for solution sign-off and deployment.
Defect & Issue Management: Support defect identification, log issues using enterprise tools like Azure DevOps, assess business impacts, and collaborate with Project Managers to escalate high-impact blockers.
Design Reviews: Participate in functional and technical design reviews to ensure solution configurations match business expectations and industry best practices.
Operational Readiness: Coordinate deployment readiness, transition documentation, and structured knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable operations beyond the initial release.
Qualifications
Core Experience: 8–10+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience driving testing and validation activities for large-scale enterprise IT initiatives.
Dynamics 365 Expertise: Proven experience working within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and/or Finance & Operations (F&O) enterprise environments.
Modernization Programs: Demonstrated success supporting large-scale system implementations, lifecycle phases, and post-go-live enhancement stages.
Structured Governance: Extensive experience operating within formal governance frameworks, including structured validation and formal business approval processes.
Tools & Methodologies: Proficient with Azure DevOps for tracking requirements, test cases, and defects under Agile or iterative SDLC delivery models.
Soft Skills: Superior analytical, documentation, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex functional concepts to non-technical business users.
Nice to Have: Relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate or equivalent).
