Responsibilities
Maximo Domain Requirements Engineering: Lead full-lifecycle requirements elicitation and analysis for the Maximo implementation—authoring comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
Business Process Re-engineering: Evaluate legacy business practices to document detailed "As-Is" states and design optimized "To-Be" blueprints, utilizing formal Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards.
Asset Lifecycle Workflow Configuration: Model and optimize core Maximo functional modules, spanning asset registry tracking, preventative maintenance planning, capital project delivery, contract/vendor management, service requests, and mobile/geospatial (GIS) asset mapping.
Traceability & Lifecycle Governance: Construct and manage the project's Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), converting specifications into actionable Jira components for testing, tracking, and sprint deployment.
Comprehensive Quality Assurance Leadership: Design, write, and execute technical test plans, scripts, and edge-case scenarios—coordinating functional, system integration (SIT), regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Defect Triage & Telemetry Reporting: Facilitate structured defect triage meetings, tracking software anomalies down to backend fields, and providing regular quality metrics and risk reports to executive leadership.
Integration & Migration Consultation: Define and document physical data conversion strategies, role-based security permissions, and system integration logic connecting Maximo to external corporate networks.
Stakeholder Workshop Facilitation: Lead highly technical Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions and consensus-building workshops, aligning cross-departmental leaders on solution boundaries and operational readiness plans.
Qualifications
Core Systems Analysis Seniority: 10+ years of progressive professional experience serving as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Solution Designer within large-scale technology implementation projects.
BPMN Process Modeling Mastery: 10+ years of dedicated professional experience evaluating, recommending, and documenting workflows, utilizing BPMN standards to engineer complex business transformations.
IBM Maximo Platform Specialization: 2+ years of hands-on technical or functional experience working with IBM Maximo Asset Management or the IBM Maximo Application Suite (v7, v8, or v9).
Maximo Implementation Footprint: Proven experience supporting a full Maximo deployment track, specifically mapping modules for work orders, asset management, preventative maintenance, or vendor contracts.
Enterprise Testing & Toolchain Literacy: Strong background building verification matrices, generating test data, and executing enterprise quality assurance, with practical experience using tracking engines like Jira or HP ALM.
