Responsibilities
Reporting & Visualization: Architect, develop, and maintain interactive enterprise dashboards, reports, and visualization layers that convey critical business performance trends.
Data Modeling & Architecture: Design, build, and optimize logical and physical data models, establishing efficient data relationships, hierarchies, and storage schemas tailored for analytical parsing.
Extraction & Pipeline Integration: Build and support robust Extraction, Transformation, and Load (ETL) data pipelines to securely ingest information from flat files, relational databases, and enterprise APIs into a centralized data warehouse.
Database Optimization: Write, test, and tune complex SQL queries to profile underlying datasets and systematically eliminate system bottlenecks by reviewing indexing and partitioning strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional technical teams, business analysts, and operational stakeholders to extract reporting parameters and translate business needs into technical specifications.
Data Security & Governance: Implement strict role-based data security controls and compliance rules to maximize data integrity and safeguard highly sensitive transactional information.
Quality Assurance & Verification: Monitor, validate, and audit data accuracy across production systems to preserve consistency between source layers and front-end reports.
Knowledge Transfer: Maintain clean, detailed system documentation and deliver technical skills training to permanent data teams to facilitate smooth post-implementation support.
Qualifications
Core Analytics Seniority: 8+ years of progressive professional experience architecting, developing, and operating Business Intelligence and data warehouse solutions.
Power BI Mastery: Elite proficiency using Power BI, including advanced data modeling, data gateway configurations, and complex calculations utilizing DAX and Power Query.
ERP/CRM Domain Expertise: Proven experience constructing analytical reports utilizing backend data models directly from Dynamics 365 Customer Experience (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) environments.
Cloud ETL Engineering: Practical experience handling cloud data integration techniques, source-to-target mapping, and building automated pipelines using Azure Synapse or similar enterprise ETL tools.
Advanced Query Programming: Expert-level SQL scripting capabilities with deep structural knowledge of performance troubleshooting, query optimization plans, and indexing frameworks.
Technical Engineering Tooling: Familiarity operating with database management applications such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL4CDS, and Azure data management utilities.
Agile Code Governance: Working knowledge of code repository version control and backlog management within Azure Repos and Azure DevOps.
